that was the big of the fear in jumping. >> reporter: people texting don't fall on to the tracks every day. but metro sees people trip and fall while texting on escalators or just walking. and those are the opportunities for accidents to happen. >> reporter: the accident happened july 3rd, a sunday. trains run every 12 minutes instead ofef six. fortunate timing because minutes after the rescue, a train arrived. >> and that shock me up a little bit. i had tears in my eyes. >> reporter: he doesn't remember the woman's name and never saw if show had her phone. in bethesda, sherri ly, fox few news. >> medics treated the woman at the station to make her feel better. the rescuer made up a story telling her he once fell down stairs while texting. >> a fire at the local hospital this morning and that is next. we'll check in with tucker and julie coming up. it's 5:31. >> welcome back, it's 5:33 on this friday morning. the date, july 15th and the sky was pretty this morning and what looked like a full moon this morning. thanks for being with us. steve cheveney and tony perk
